Hayley's 1st Month

Hayley Grace 11July2009

Well Hayley Grace is now a month old...and Things are still easy. She still sleeps a lot, more than i can remember the twins sleeping. Hardly cries, and tries so hard to hold her head up. She gets it up for a few seconds and then just lets go as if it weighed 100 pounds. She is getting big very quick. Some clothes she started out in had some extra room in them, and now she is filling them and almost about to big for a few. We do not have another baby appointment for her until next month. and then ill post her weight and height. Her belly button is starting to look normal, and has finally stopped bleeding a bit from when the cord fell off. It is a crazy thing to take 3 kids out of the house, even to go to wal-mart or another store to buy things we need. We are realizing how much money we have been wasting on going out to eat. Because this past month we have only gone out a few times. And we usually go out a few times a week. So with not going out, were seeing more money in the back at the end of a pay period, working out nice as were trying to build up our savings in case our renters move out and we have a month or two without a renter...Hayley has done one thing already the Twins never wanted anything to do with...and thats a pacifier, she loves them keeps them in no problem. Well hopefully we get our camera back, so i can start taking pictures with our new camera instead of our old one.

The New Addition To The Family

Hayley Grace Shelton, was born on June 11th 2009, and tipped the scale at 6lbs. 11oz. with 19 and a quarter inches of beauty between her head and toes. A full head of hair, much more than Addison and Paige had. And might i say she looks a lot like Daddy!
The days at Lake Forest Hospital were nice...the nurses were all great, and took care of any and everything that Kim or Hayley needed. And it was really nice that they had a nursery, I still dont know why we sent her...because she was such a good sleeper. And Kim is nursing Hayley, so she had to be in the room to eat...but i guess it kept us from jumping up to check for each noise she made. Addison and Paige really didnt know what to think of at first im sure...they would bring Hayley toys...and drop them on her...or be a bit rough instead of being nice...but a few days after Hayley was home, i think they got the hang of things and realized she was not going away so they warmed up to her, and they give her kiss' and hugs now. While we were in the hospital, our camera got some weird mark inside the lens, so we had to send it off and i must say it is killing me...this whole not having a camera thing, i love to take tons of pictures...so i cant wait to get the camera back from Samsung. Kim is really doing well since the C-Section, the first couple of days were rough, but she is almost back to feeling good. The first 2 weeks were great...things seemed easy...then...once Kim's mom and dad left...we got to see what is was like to TRY and handle 3 kids...under the age of 2. As a friend likes to call it..."Controlled Chaos"
I must say having only 1 baby to worry about at night for burping and changing is great. We dont have one baby waking up...and then the other waking up an hour or so later...totally killing any hope of sleep. So things are good now that Kim and I are getting the hang of thangs...but I go back to work tomorrow...and she will be here with all 3 kids, but she always says Addison and Paige are great as long as im not home..."Because i get them all wound up" but you gotta have fun! Check back soon. Photos of all 3 kids coming soon!

The big number....1

Well....the girls are 1 now...and since the big day...Paige has turned into her sister...always wanting attention and not as happy as she usually is...but Addison is not as bad...probably because she is laughing at her sister when she is having a fit. And no we did not get them mixed up...lol...Christmas was great the girls got tons of toys and they enjoy them all. We had them in little Santa outfits, and after a few gifts they started pulling on the paper to open things. It was a crazy few days, with moving into the house only a few days before, and they really were having a rough time getting used to the central time zone. But now they are good with that! The Birthday was great they got tons of clothes, and a few toys they each had fun unwrapping things, we just had to be sure to take away the peice they just puuled off...so then they would go for another...worked out great! Thank everyone for all the gifts! Yesterday we took the girls for a little sledding trip in the back yard...they had fun, were lauging so much. Once we got them inside and out of the snow outfits, they went for the back door, and stood at it, hitting the door...looking at the sleds, and snow...guess they wanted to keep going but we were worried that they were getting cold...so we came in. We have about 8 inches of snow, so im sure we will go again today or tomorrow afternoon. We went for the girls' 1 year doctor appointment, and all is great, the girls each weigh 18.3 lbs, and are 27 3/4 inches tall...the doctor said he expects them to be walking soon! We are done with formula, but they do have a bottle in the morning after breakfast and a bottle before bed at night...but they like the whole milk! They are eating everything we eat, we have found a few thing that each of them do not like...but for the most part...they both like everything. Well thats all for now...be sure to come back for new photos, and a few videos!

O yeah...the new baby is a GIRL! Due June 13th

11 months....

One month away from the big number 1! We will have our house in Chicago on the 22nd, and get as much as we can set aside or put where it needs to go...that is if the movers make it on time...Just in case we will be taking everyone's Christmas presents (and the girls' birthday gifts) in our car...just in-case the movers are running late. The girls are pulling up on things to stand up, and walking while hanging on to the table and what not...i hope the new house is as easy to baby proof as this one was...Both girls are both saying Mama and Dada...I think Paige is starting to wean off of formula, she has not been finishing them for the past few days...or it could be she is not feeling good...but we do give them both a lot of food when we eat, and snacks and all...they are doing great with that! we can give them a big piece of bread, and they will just bite and eat until its gone...instead of looking at it as if they didnt know what to do, or just dropping it on the floor. They are yet to crawl on hands and knees...but are really fast with the army crawl. Friday is my last day on the ship! And i cant wait to walk off for the last time!!!! Kim has another ultrasound for the new baby on the 17th...and as long as i can get out of school before noon, she will make it...Monday is the end of her first Trimester! and seems this pregnancy is going by faster than the last...but i was on cruise for the most of it...so everything is slow from out in the middle of no where. Well...time to drop some videos on here...so check back if they are not on here already!
